Our story / Est. 2019

It started with
a little color.

A medical student. A pair of socks. An idea that grew into good company.

Vitals & Vibes began in 2019 as a small socks company, founded by a medical student who wanted to bring a little more color to his daily wear. Between the scrubs, white coats, and long study days, a pair of patterned socks was a small way to feel like himself.

That student was Fayez Ajib. The brand was originally called Socks for Docs, and the idea was simple: make something playful for people who spend so much of their time caring for others. A little personality could fit into even the most familiar uniform.

01 / The first connections

A small gesture.
A shared feeling.

In 2019, we ran outreach campaigns giving free socks to people across medicine. We wanted to put a little color into their days and say a simple thank you for the work they did, and the work they were learning to do.

The photographs from that chapter are still part of our story: socks at a study desk, peeking out from workwear, and paired with scrubs. They capture something we still love about this community: there is room for personality in a life devoted to care.

02 / Growing with the founder

From medical student
to Doctor Fayez.

Today, Dr. Fayez Ajib is an emergency physician and a social media creator, known as Doctor Fayez and Life of a Doctor. His work now reaches beyond the hospital, sharing a perspective on medicine and the people living it.

That interest in everyday life also led to HealthMaxxing, a wellness app for body and mind. It brings food, sleep, movement, and mood tracking into one place, helping people see their daily habits together.

The connection to Vitals & Vibes is personal. Both projects make space for the person behind the routine: the interests, habits, and small choices that fill a life beyond a job title. The student who wanted more color in his day is still building around that idea.

03 / The next chapter, together

Good company.
In every chapter.

Over the years, we have continued to develop the brand. Today, Vitals & Vibes serves as a social club for people in medicine, built around shared experience, personal style, and a sense of belonging.

For us, that means a place in the conversation for the whole care team: students, doctors, nurses, and everyone whose work keeps care moving. There is no single way to look, dress, or be yourself in medicine. We want that individuality to feel at home here.

Whether you are finding your feet or years into the work, there is room for your stories, your humor, and your own bit of color.

The socks started the conversation.
The people keep it going.
